To date the Chamber has over 150 members from the Town of Prescott, and surrounding district of the Township of Augusta and Township of Edwardsburg/Cardinal. Although being part of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, it is locally that the Chamber is most effective. For well over a century its Directors and members have been influential in directing the area's growth, economic development, tourism and quality of life for the community. Through our growing membership and involvement in projects and events in the community the Chamber of Commerce is committed to promoting its members and their businesses and services, striving to make our community a better place to live, work and play.

The Prescott Fire Department has been serving the town of Prescott and the surrounding area for over 130 years. The department currently provides a wide range of services to the community from fire protection and prevention to search and rescue and participates in the annual Santa Claus parade.

The Prescott Public Library was formed in 1895 and since then there have been a number of changes to our building and services. We offer traditional library services, programs and special events as well as community services through our Friends of the Prescott Library program. Thanks to our many volunteers we have been able to maintain and upgrade the inside of our building to keep it vibrant and inviting to all!

The Fort Town Concert Association (FTCA) is a voluntary community effort with a mission to mount classical music concerts of professional quality in rural Eastern Ontario . It also seeks to encourage music appreciation in a younger audience by making concert presentations in schools, and offering free evening tickets to children under 12. FTCA is served by a volunteer committee of 9 members.
