What can you do to help, right now?October 12 2007

The thing that you can do right now to help yourself and to help the world is build security into your own life through the strength of family.
By family I don't expect you to limit yourself to the people with whom you are directly related. Rather I refer to a pact of trust which could be established between people from opposite ends of the globe, or which may be unachievable even between brothers.
The rules which govern what I call family relationship include the following.- We tell the truth to each other
- We promote (speak well of) each other
- We are happy for each other's success
- We support and encourage skill develoment in each other
- We hold each other responsible for making ourselves the best we can be
- We share information and knowledge freely in order to save each other time and money
- We require that people who benefit from this program support the program.
This process of family network development does not in itself "save the world". What it does do is gives each of us Aristotle's proverbial "place to stand", which we will all require before we become ready to move the world.
